Quite a busy year for me. I am flogging on with my degree
in psychology and in my final year now. Hoorah! If you're reading this and have completed an OU degree - respect!

My researches into happiness have led me into some unexpected waters. I have discovered an amazing guy called Echart Tolle
www.eckharttolle.com and his teachings have had a profound effect upon me. Try reading his book The Power of Now. So I am going through something of a major life change and don't quite know where I'll pop out when it has finished. I'm giving it the rest of this year (intensive study, meditation and suchlike) to see where this leads. Expect a different style of writing and focus from me in the future though! (I do however, promise not to don a saffron robe and get myself a begging bowl...

The new site is working well now with the shopping cart facility, so don't hold yourself back from buying stuff! I am currently writing a new book on happiness as well as ghost writing another book for a certain well known figure who will remain nameless. I am also flogging on with my Open University degree in psychology - nearly there!

Current Market Turmoil: Few realise this is built into the very heart of our Fiat money system. Our currency is backed by virtually nothing. Banks can (and do) create money out of thin air - which they then lend at interest. If BIG loans get defaulted on, they lend more money (all they want is the interest). If those are defaulted, they lend even more, roll the loan over etc. ANYTHING to keep the interest coming in. When the borrower can no longer pay the ever rising interest debt they move to the 'bail out' end-game which means the cost of the bad loans is passed to the tax payer.
